The 69th Alain Briot Print of the Month photograph is titled Aspens and Pines Tree. It was created with my Phase One P45 digital back mounted on a Hasselblad V camera. The lens used is a Zeiss 150mm.
What makes this photograph unique is that I intentionlly moved the camera during the exposure. This resulted in giving a controlled blur quality to the image. I say "controlled" because the camera is moved in a deliberate and calculated manner that I developed through testing, practice plus trial and error. It takes time to get it right and to create an image that is enhanced by the blurred quality and not hurt by it. In other words, the goal here is to make an image that is better because the camera was moved. An image that is different but enhanced by the motion apparent in the print. This motion is visible when you look at the print at full size. Here is a 100% crop from this image. Below it, the crop area isindicated in red on the full image:

Matting and Framing
This photograph is available matted, framed or matted and framed in a Mahogany Finish frame. Below is a sample of the moulding. The mat is white, archival Bainbridge. Mounting is done with hinged archival tape. All the material used are archival.

After unpacking your photograph, "Canyons of the San Juan 1," I was blown away by the colors, highlight, shadow detail, and the overall dynamic range of the image.
